An explorable 3D Beit HaMikdash. The floor plan is the prophetic one of
Yechezkel 40–48 — a 500 × 500 amah court, three gates and no gate in the
west, the eastern gate sealed — raised at the scale of one world unit to
one amah and finished in white stone, sea-wave marble and gold.
Thirty-six hidden things wait in the courts: eighteen silver rimonim and
eighteen wonders, each one a teaching drawn from Tanach, Talmud, or the
spade of the archaeologist. Among them:
Walk the courts in first person, or turn the House from above.
Speak with the kohanim at their stations of the morning avodah.
Strike the fifteen steps of the Levites and hear the Shir HaMa'alot,
one degree of the ascent to a step.
Watch the fire on the altar from day into night, and the river run out
from beneath the threshold.
